Psychotherapy
When met with unconditional regard and deep listening, we have the space to fully meet ourselves, wherever we are. Therapy can provide a safe place of acceptance and connection and support us in recognizing our wholeness.
This is for you if:
You’re living in Texas or Colorado state (virtual services available) and are looking for a licensed therapist!
Somatic Therapy
Build a relationship with your body and your intrinsic knowing. Learn about how your own truth resides within your nervous system. Trust in your capacity to work with life’s challenges. Expand your ability to hold and implement your dreams.
Nervous System & Somatic Classes
Learn to understand your experience through the lens of the nervous system. What if we understood anger as connected to our fight response? Or fantasizing as sometimes a flight response? When we learn about our nervous system, we can build a relationship with our core needs. What if we learned how to work with our body and mind when we are feeling frozen or dissociated? My intention in offering this information is to support empowerment and self-knowledge and to encourage applying the framework to specifically fit one’s embodied experience.
What’s involved:
Learn the basic education on the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, Stephan Porge’s Polyvagal Theory, and flight, fight, freeze, and fawn states.
Learn the connection between the N.S., emotions, behavior, and cognition and become an expert on these aspects of yourself.
Build your tool box with ways to support flight, fight, freeze, and fawn states specific your body’s needs.
Form deep relationships with classmates as you embark in this learning and engage in discussions, activities, and group assignments.
Stay tuned for Spring 2025 dates coming soon!
